Hot Yoga is a style of Hatha Yoga that originated from a lineage in Calcutta, India. The series of twenty-six to thirty postures done in a heated room is designed to scientifically warm and stretch the muscles, ligaments and tendons, in the order in which they should be stretched. The heat makes the exercise aerobic, allows you to stretch deeper while avoiding injury, and detoxifies the body. The result is vastly improved balance, flexibility, strength, mental clarity and focus. Whether you are an advanced yoga student, or have never tried yoga, this class is for you. Hot Yoga Instructor. Evan and Kara Branin, owners of BraninBody Fitness, are a husband and wife personal training team with a combined total of 12 years in the fitness industry. We specialize in fat-loss (including post-baby weight), sports training, muscle building, and functional training. Our philosophy is that nothing should be left on the training floor; that is to say that 110% should be given to every workout, both from you and from us. We operate with the understanding that all body parts are inter-connected, and to train under any other premise is tantamount to not being able to "see the forest through the trees."
